General Specfications:

• 240x320 pixel 3.6" diag. STN Color Display with CCFL backlight and 4-wire touchscreen
• 8 bits-per-pixel color depth (8bbp)
• Nominal 3V-5V operation (no additional voltages necessary except for CCFL inverter)
• Built-in DC-DC converter for LCD Negative Bias
• Display Contrast set by Contrast Control Voltage
• Module Dimentions: 2.75" x 3.50" x 0.375"
• Specs are similar to the ALPS LFH8P402 display [ALPS PDF Spec]
• Specs are similar to the ALPS LFH8P429 display [ALPS PDF Spec]

Touchscreen Specfications:

• Standard 4-wire Resistive Touchscreen
• X resistance: 300 ohms, Y resistance: 500 ohms

CCFL Backlight Inverter Specfications:

• Tested with TDK PCU-554
• Many other inverters will work

Application Notes:

• This LCD can be easily driven by most LCD display controllers including:
  • ISA and PCI video cards using the common C&T 65545/65550 and 69000 controller chips
  • Embedded LCD display controller chips like the Seiko-Epson S1D13705 (SED1375)
  • The Intel StrongARM / XScale integrated LCD controllers
  • The LCD controllers located in most color PDAs.
  • Other LCD controllers and embedded hardware
• This LCD works in native portrait mode (240x320 instead of landscape 320x240), however, the orientation of the display can be rotated in the controller.

Testing and Images:

• The LFH8P4032B display was tested by connecting it to a StrongARM development board running Debian ARM Linux.
• Connections between the StrongARM processor and LCD are made as follows:
